Accurately scans appropriate patient identification into the electronic medical record: Qatar Identity Card and / or passport, and Insurance Card.
Performs accurate registrations in assigned locations.
Thoroughly explains all electronic documents and captures patient or patient legal guardian’s signatures.
Adheres to departmental and organizational policies, procedures and regulatory standards and requirements.
Participation and compliance with quality improvement programs and competency assessment initiatives. Participates in mandatory training and actively practices continual professional development in alignment with Sidra’s professional development programs.
Ensures the medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory compliance for patient records.
Manages the patient record for check-in, admission, patient care, physician orders, check out and discharge for the respective unit.
Collects and records patient feedback and data to support Patient Satisfaction evaluation.
Assists the Supervisor and Manager in the collection of information related to advanced research and reports required by the department.
Meets deadlines and follows up on assignments under the supervision of the Supervisor/Manager.
Identifies pertinent events affecting patient care, administration, quality of service within the Unit and reports them to the Manager / Supervisor.
Provides suggestion on administration, patient records and other departmental procedures as required.
