Played a key role in the start-up of the Women’s Breast Health department and integrated diagnostic breast ultrasounds and breast biopsies into available modalities to veterans of the Jacksonville area. Routinely provided training, cross-training, and mentoring to co-workers and was seen as a resource for the radiology department for trouble-shooting problems that occurred. Additionally, I was able to increase the number of patients seen per day by 66% reducing veteran wait times by 84%.
