Description
Project is all about development of an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System which will work across all the public transport systems in the country such as metros, buses etc. leading to the establishment of an Interoperable Fare Management System (IFMS) bringing extreme convenience and ease of payment for passengers. This involves developing card and device specifications & standards for transit which would also work across existing retail outlets in addition to all transport operators systems regardless of the mode and location of the service provider. The project envisages three-tier architecture of all the components via terminal, station server system and central server system. The terminal has the ability to read NCMC card and then transferring the data to the respective station server and from all the station servers to a centralized server.
Project 2
Unorganized Worker Identification System, Ministry of Labor and Empowerment.
Period
May’15 to Dec’15
Technologies

Description
e-safeT is a compact, ultra-low power data logger consisting of a high resolution temperature sensor, memory, visual indicators and wireless link. This can be used to track the thermal history of the items (Vaccine, Blood bags, Medicines, Perishable goods, and other temperature sensitive items) while in storage or in transit. The wireless link is used for location stamping at key transit points. Stores transit logs to centralize server and send notification to authorized user through e-mail and sms if temperature violates during transit.
