Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)

● Learned the manufacturing process of Impeller hub and pulverize which I practically used in my final year project.

PROJECTS

Design and Fabrication of Versatile V-Block for all types of shaft housing with bearing functional tests

Impeller hub with different diameters is used with different sizes of the fixtures. We created a solution by designing a movable v block pairs so due to the movable block different sizes of diameters can be accommodated in single mid-point. This reduces the time and energy for changing the u fixtures. The project has won “Project of the year” title.

● Design analysis using CREO and CREO DFEMA tool.

● Designed to implement in bearing rig testing machine.

● The machine is used to test the presence of vibration and oil leakage in the impeller hub. Eccentric and Angular Drilling Machine

● To precisely drill the angular drills on the flat surface of any work piece and on any part of the face. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

● Worked in Design team of the ‘SMOKIN AXLES’ team representing the college in the

‘FORMULA GREEN’ National level racing event organized by the Association of Production Engineers.

● Published a drawing in Sairam Magazine ‘MAGSAI 2017’.
