PROJECTS

Bulk Encryption

This feature involves uploading a decrypted DOB and SSN excel file and then encrypting them that includes dashes on SSN and DOB, Slashes on DOB, and SSN with numbers only. It also includes a decrypt feature where the excel file includes uploading an encrypted excel spreadsheet and then will produce a decrypted excel spreadsheet.

●Utilized the XSSFWorkbook and File functions in java to extract data from the uploaded excel file and to produce a new excel file with the requested data

●Parsed Data based on data types so that the excel spreadsheet displays the correct data

●Used a lot of condition statements in the servlet to make sure that exact data is displayed with the proper formats

●Validated the upload field using javascript to make sure that the file type is either xls or xlsx and the uploaded excel spreadsheet is properly formatted with correct data.

●Provided instructions on the front-end so that clients are aware of how to use the page

Nova Credit

After the screening the tenants, the page has a link to the Nova Credit when the clients can enter their email address and then a request for Nova screening is sent to that specific email. Upon completion, the screened tenant page will have a pdf. This is to screen international tenants.

●Implemented Spring to develop the entire Nova architecture.

●Used RestTemplate in order to pull data in JSON format from the Nova Credit API

●Created Database Tables to store the Nova Applicant information

●Wrote helper functions to get access to the API and then have them inserted/updated to the newly created database.

●Created a flag in the property profile page to either enable or disable the feature

●Utilized RestController so that it interacts with the main Residential Screening page.

●Created a link in the client page that will display a popup where the clients can enter their email address and the request will be sent.

●Created Reports in the administration page for the business to see how many of the nova applicants have been screened.

The Work Number

Same as Nova Credit, after tenants are screened, there will be a link on the page and then clients can click on it and then it will generate a pdf file that showcase the employment history of that tenant.

●Used SSLConnection to get access to the Work Number API in XML format

●Parsed XML using JAXB and XPath and then inserted them into the new created database table.

●Built a helper function to generate the pdf

●Used the Servlet to call the data from database and interact with the client page.

●Created report pages for the business to keep track of which tenants had their employment history checked

●Made sure that it is executed only once by disabling the button after pressing it.

Applicant Dispute

Any tenants that were screened and if it was not correct, the real estate company can change the tenant score.

●Added the feature to the Applicant Report page located in the Administration System.

●Added a button that will generate a popup page using bootstrap where users can determine which services needs to be looked at for score change

●Created a table and implemented a SQL query to insert and update data in the servlet and user interaction occurs via AJAX.

●Included the button in the client page where clients click on it to generate popup and that is where they can change the score for the applicant.

Property Management

Finance Team uses this feature to keep track of the clients to make sure that the payment is made. They can suspend the account if clients did not make any recent payments.

●Implemented a MVC design pattern so that it interacts with multiple front end es.

●Orgapagnized Data Retrieval into functions using DAO and DTO.

●Used Datatables and AJAX to retrieve data in JSON format and display them on webpage

●Created 4 JSP pages that refer to the property management servlet

●Included search fields based on specific criteria so users can look for property information based on Property Name and/or Company Name
