Summary:
To seek an opportunity for professional growth and to build a career with committed and dedicated people, which will help me to explore myself truly, contributing quality ideas and to work for an organization where team spirit and personal skills are recognized and rewarded
Professional Experience: 2 years and 10 months
Teaching Assistant (TA) & Marker- 10 months (Aug 2018- May 2019)
Concordia University - Montréal, QC
During my Master’s program I was a TA and also marker for Heat Transfer lab and was responsible for presenting the aspects of Heat Transfer experiments. Preparing and presenting laboratories.
Solving practical problems of students related to their course project: Creating models for thermal analysis.
As a Marker my responsibility was to set and mark Quiz paper and exams for Heat transfer lab
Report to the laboratory specialist.
Intern (Design Engineer), Matru Chaya Engineering, India- 2 years.
Key responsibility was to involve with design and manufacturing team.
Hands on experience in operating Lathe and Milling machines to manufacture flanges, adaptors, transmission shafts.
Understanding G and M codes.
Creating 3D models of jigs and fixtures from conceptual ideas using SolidWorks
Created the 2D drawings for the same.
Studied the material selection process
Worked as Method Support to read out technical drawings of critically casted components and assisted manufacturing of flanges, power transmission shafts, adaptor plates.
Software Skills & Knowledge:
CAD: Solid works, Solid Edge, Pro-E, UG/NX.
Finite Element: Ansys, Ansys Workbench, Hypermesh.
Industry knowledge: GD&T, FEA, Size and Mass optimization, Static Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Heat transfer analysis, Sheet metal modelling, Surface Engineering, Knowledge on G and M codes, CNC programming, 3D modelling, Design drawing, 3D CAD tools.
Software Packages: Microsoft Office.
Education:
Master of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. (Jan 2018-June 2019)
Major: Materials and Composites (GPA- 3.35/4.3)
Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec.
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) –75.57%. (Aug 2013- July 2017)
Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, India.
Research Publications:
“FEA and Optimization of Boring Tool Adaptors” in the journal “International Journal of Engineering Research in Mechanical and Civil Engineering” (IJERMCE)

“Design and Fabrication of Automated Motorised Mechanical Jack” published in International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET) Volume 4, Issue 9, September 2017 S.NO:28 link-https://irjet.net/archives/V4/i9/IRJET-V4I928.pdf
Curriculum Projects:
Coating of Gas Turbine Blades.
To model the Gas turbine blade structure on SolidWorks & Ansys and to analyze the effect of thermal barrier coating on blade's thermal performance through thermal analysis.
Deciding the best coating material by comparing the results of blade without coating and blade with coating.
FEA and Optimization of Boring Tool Adaptors.
Main aim was to study the structural strength of adaptor.
To optimize the design by studying and considering the strength and material.
Upon optimization, about 240$ per adaptor was saved.
Design and Fabrication of Automated Motorized Mechanical Jack.
To design and fabricate a compact, low cost and efficient automated motorized screw jack that is useful for women and aged people to handle and maintain.
The jacks which are in use require more effort (force to operate) which is difficult for women and aged.
In order to over-come this difficulty, me along with my project group designed and fabricated a jack which is motorized. This is operated using remote control circuit.
Jack was designed to take up 800 kg of load.
Awards and Achievements:
Received 3rd best project for “Design and Fabrication of Automated Motorised Jack” at project exhibition held at KLS GOGTE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Belgaum, India.
Secured 3rd place for presenting a paper on “FEA and Optimization of Boring Tool Adaptors” in a “NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCES IN CIVIL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. (NCACME-2017) held at “GIRIJABAI SAIL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY” Karwar, India.
Secured A grade in “Professional in CAD exam” for a course on HYPERMESH software from Apollo centre, Belgaum, India
Stood 13th rank in school with 91.36 % for SSLC examination for 2011.
