What is Soil Stabilization: Soil stabilization refers to changing the physical properties of soil in order to improve its strength, durability or other qualities. Materials used or admixtures for soil stabilization are cement, lime, fly ash, bitumen, different chemicals etc. Fly ash is used to increase physical as well as chemical properties of soil. Fly ash is used as admixture as this is a waste material and cheaply available everywhere

Scope of work : Analysis of the index properties of soil. Analysis of maximum dry density and optimum moisture content of soil. Analysis of compressive stress of soil. Analysis of maximum dry dnsity and optimum moisture content of soil by adding admixture as flyash at different proportions (10%,20%,30%,40%,50% of soil) Analysis the compressive stress of soil when admixtures are added at different propertion. By taking the omc and mdd of the admixture +soil at different propertions we will observe the compressive stress of soil in ucs test.
