Torus provides commercial, professional and specialty insurance and reinsurance products to a global client base through its UK, US and Bermuda based insurance subsidiaries.
Torus Insurance Holdings Limited is the Bermudian holding company of three insurance entities, Torus Insurance (UK) Ltd, an FSA regulated UK business, Torus Specialty Insurance Inc., a US excess and surplus lines insurer and Torus Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd, a Class-4 insurer domiciled in Hamilton Bermuda. Torus Envision application is used for the Risk assessment. This assessment is a part of the total assessment of the account. Out of many assessments Triage/Desktop Assessment and COPE Assessment were used exclusively by end users which were Performance Tested.

The Hartford’s Group Benefits Division (GBD) has been working on a “straight through processing” platform called PRISM, which has touch points with other GBD applications. This system was developed using a rapid application development methodology and using a third party tool “Wake soft” that was used to automate java coding. The PRISM project implemented redesigned business processes encompassing customer acquisition, service and renewal activities supported by an integrated technology environment. It involved developing an n-tier J2EE based application using Wake soft Architecture server and implementing workflow based processing using MQ Series

Travelers is a leading provider of property, casualty insurance, surety products, and Risk management services to a variety of businesses, organizations and individuals. Travelers products are distributed primarily through U.S. independent insurance agents and brokers. The Travelers is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, with significant operations in Hartford, Connecticut. The company also has offices in the U.K., Ireland and Canada.
A Policy Holder Report (PHR) is a means of collecting necessary accounting and business specific data for the purpose of processing an audit. PHR’s are used in lieu of a physical audit when specific criteria are met. The current process includes mailing paper copies of specific PHR forms to the insured 30 days after the policy expires. The objective of ePHR (electronic Policy Holder Report) is to enable policy holder to furnish details online thus reducing the significant usage of paper printing and also allow automatic rating and processing for audits. The objective of the project also involves the positioning of the application in BPO by reducing manual processing.
These applications are performance tested on every release & enhancements to ensure the end user performance.

CSAA Performance team takes care of all the performance requirements of the various portals and applications that belong to CSAA. The project involves working as a part the CSAA Performance team and to have an offshore component.
