DUTIES:
Managing Employees
Selecting suitable additions to the team
Ensuring floor staffs are formally and adequately trained for their positions and have a thorough understanding of the duties associated with their jobs.
Providing on-going training on new policies and procedures as they are incorporated.
Preparing schedules, to balance the cost of labour against the projected sales.
Ensuring that employees follow all company policies.
Ensuring that correct operating standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service required.
To conduct daily operations briefing with FOH team
Managing the employees present within the restaurant to ensuring that customers receive the very best service, food and experience possible.
Monitoring quality of the food delivered to the customer.
Productively and efficiently handling customer concerns and special requests.
Monitor service and food and beverage standards,work with the Head Chef to take corrective action where necessary
Ensuring compliance with proper cash control procedures.
Overseeing and ensuring accurate transactions at the register.
Ensuring adequate supplies for FOH service delivery.
Maintenance and administration of the company facilities, specifically all customer facing areas.
Control the requisitioning. Storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
Monitoring all costs and recommends measures to control them.
Ensuring efficient flow of information from FOH to BOH.
To assist in the formulation of the Annual Operating Budget for the Restaurant, determining outlet projected revenues and expenses.
Ensure the continued profitability of KIZA Restaurant and Lounge
To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
