EXPERIENCE

Joseph Construction INC. (2007)

I worked in the warehouse with my father the summer before my Senior year in high school. I learned to drive a forklift and do scheduled maintenance on small engine machinery, as well as, organizing, and cleaning the warehouse.

T.C.’s Grill (2009-2013)

I started washing dishes and eight months later I was the Closing Kitchen Manager. I was responsible for closing clean up, next day preparations, food quality, being sure we were sufficiently manned, stocking in inventory, and locking up. My biggest challenge at the job was when we moved from 129 to Old Niles Ferry. I played a large role in setting up and designing the new layout of the kitchen.

DENSO (2012-2018)

I started inspecting parts made by injection molding machines through Staffing Solutions. I checked for defects and informed a Production Expert if I had 3 or more of the same defect. I did some logistical work driving various PIVs. I drove a “tugger” to deliver empty boxes to lines and I took away boxes with inspected parts to the warehouse. After about 6 months I was hired on full-time. I was trained to run a paint booth as well as being an offline person. In the paint booth I had to load different programs into the robot, arrange the parts in specific ways on the hangers, make adjustments of the amount and shape of the paint spray, as well as specification checks on the coat of paint including thickness and gloss reading. As an offline person, used a forklift to move boxes of resin onto tilt tables so they could be vacuum fed to the machines. I was also required to pull service parts. These were older parts not in mass production that we kept in inventory to fulfill customer orders. For almost 5 years I was a Production Expert. My job responsibilities include ensuring quality parts are being made by the 13-21 injection molding machines I was in charge of. I performed quality checks that included various tests and measurements. I change the molds in the machines to run different products using overhead cranes, as well as, automated and manual carts. I would usually change machines 12-22 times per shift. Sumitomo and Nissie 150-180 ton made up most of the machines I dealt with. Also older Klockner both big and small. We also had two double shot machines that were 250 ton. I made adjustments to the machine and robot programs to be within customer, as well as, DENSO specifications. Youshin robots were most common with a couple older unknown brands. I also have experience automatic visual detection cameras. I performed trouble shooting on the machines, robots, vacuum feed system, automated mold racks, conveyor belts, and the automated carts. If my Group Leader is unavailable I made production control decisions to ensure the Final Assembly lines have the parts they need. I do a lot of communicating from GL to Line Associates and other Production Experts. I make many suggestions to my CoC for manning, and production needs.

Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated Company (2018-present)

I drive a coke truck and deliver beverages to convenient stores. They assisted in me getting my CDL.
