Key Responsibilities in Saudi Arabia Parsons Limited as a RCE - Safety Position Overview:
Provision of professional safety discipline support to the program projects with emphasis on the safety requirements of the Construction Department on all Clients’ Projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists the Safety Supervisor Construction Department in developing/managing and implementing the job site safety program.
Inspects the construction job sites to detect and directs corrective measures for immediate implementation.
Initiates and conducts of accident investigations to minimize recurrence and prepares an investigation report of these records.
Documents violations through notes, sketches, photos and videotapes.
Conducts audits and monitors the safety performance of all construction operations.
Assists Safety Supervisor in identifying and investigating elements of an accident: unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
Record injuries, fatalities and incidence rates.
Inspects work area, machinery, equipment and working conditions for compliance with OSHA (Occupational safety & Health Administration) regulations.
Coordinates/Communicates with contractors, RCM’s/RCE’s to rectify/resolve safety issues. Provides safety training to other engineers/inspectors.
Ensures the availability, readiness and proper use of required accident prevention procedures, safety and fire prevention equipment, PPE and first aid supplies.
Key Responsibilities in SEPAM/PM&C as a HSE Supervisor/Officer
Responsible for ensuring the safety records within the company.
Establishing the site emergency plan

Responsible for ensuring the safety records within the company
Develop safety, health and environment policies to meet with statuary regulations and business requirement.
Responsible to provide the evidences and statements for Safety Pre- qualification Evaluation Inquiry
Track and report on the documented safety orientation training of all new hires and transferees, and refresher safety training provided to existing employees.
Responsible for conducting the H2S drills as per schedule
Coordinates, participates and documents departmental safety meetings. Track and report on the implementation and effectiveness of division and unit level safety meetings and operational toolbox safety meetings.
Intervene and stop work when conditions at any worksite within the department pose a significant threat to health, life, property or the physical environment.
Conduct regular safety behavior observation tours, to ensure that facilities are maintained in a safe condition
Ensure all Contractor Vehicle Safety Programs are monitored and enforced, and that only contractor employees with current CS Driver Authorization Card are permitted to drive in Saudi Aramco premises.
Conduct a Safety Meeting weekly for all Drivers
Conduct vehicle safety inspection as required for Vehicle Safety Program.
Responsible for conducting a Driving Assessment for new drivers
Participate in Quarterly Safety Inspection with the Loss Prevention Dept. as per QSI schedule within the department and conduct necessary follow up to ensure that assigned corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
Inspect specified areas to ensure presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment and first aid supplies.
Ensure the prompt investigation of injuries, spills, near misses and other incidents using Root Causes Analysis (RCA), and provide a proper written report highlighting lesson learned and assisting corrective actions.
Track that proper systems are used for reporting and investigating accidents, and the action plans are developed to prevent the recurrence of the similar incidents, in accordance with G.I. 6.001 (Notification Requirements for incidents) and G.I. 6.003 (Incident Investigation).
Participate on RCSD Fire Evacuation Drill as per schedule.
Assist the Camp Manager to recommend necessary corrections or measurements for the workers accommodation
Key Responsibilities in Al Naboodah as a Safety Officer:
• Provides the necessary advice to the Supervisor/Foreman on jobsite health and safety issues.
• Maintain the up to date record of company safety statistics.
• Monitor compliance with established site safety rules.
• Conduct daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily Observation Register of any unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, action/rectify immediately and report incidents to the appropriate level of management.
• Ensure that the site is maintained in a clean and tidy state.
• Audit the registers and permit systems maintained for lifting equipment, lifting accessories, excavations, confined spaces, hot works, Lock-out/Tag-out, etc.
• Ensure that the safety of the public is not jeopardized.
• Ensure safety of the equipment and facilities inspection.
• Review and oversee procedures for investigating construction accidents.
• Review the contractor’s safety plan and monitor compliance with the plan.
• Other duties as requested from time to time.
Key Responsibilities in WTG Construction & Dev. Corp. as a Safety Officer:
• Prepared reports based on inspections, observation and investigation
• Maintain the up to date record of company safety statistics.
• Ensures that the company is successful in implementing good safety practices.
• Develops appropriate safety training and induction courses for all levels of staff.
