I possess a personal support worker certificate and I am certified in standard First Aid, CPR, CPI and Medication and pharmacology. The Alberta Police Service has also provided me with a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening Record Check and I have a valid driver’s license.

I have experience working as a personal support worker / health care aide, and have done three different rotational shifts, where I was involved with assisting residents in daily exercise programs and the use of rehabilitative equipment such as wheelchairs, walker, and canes.it was part of my responsibility to observe and report on resident’s behavior and physical conditions.

I am also experience in pediatrics care, companionship and tube feeding. I cared for palliative clients and dementia and Alzheimer clients in long term facilities. I also cared for clients in the hospital by assisting them with their daily living and companionship. I carried out social, recreational, therapeutic and training programs though individual and group activities routines.

My background includes providing home care visits f regencies and private clients, hospitals, long term care and residential setting and providing care for those with disabilities, with their daily living and helping them accomplish their desires and objectives.

In addition possess excellent communication and safe medication administration skills, a willingness to work effectively in a team, and knowledge of specific condition affecting resident’s physical abilities.
