WFMLand, Inc Self Employed

January 2009 to Present

I am self employed, working as an independent land consultant. Projects range from a small single cul- de-sac development in the City of Aurora to a preliminary analysis and design of a Medical Marijuana Grow Facility in Brunswick, Canada.

Vision Land Consultants, Inc – Golden, Colorado Project Manager December 2007 to October 2008

Responsibilities included all aspects of commercial and residential site development design and project management, team workload, project engineering progress, plan composition, project data file setup & management, client & review agency coordination, project scope and fee proposal/contract development, budget management and monthly invoicing. I have managed a wide ranging variety of site development projects in Colorado. Residential, mixed use, commercial, as well as NW Fastracks Commuter Rail Preliminary Park-n-Ride Station designs. I worked with multiple municipalities, local and state jurisdiction in obtaining project approvals. I am proficient with ACAD/LDD 2006 software as well as a wide variety of other engineering software packages. Responsibilities included all aspects of commercial and residential site development design and project management, team workload, project engineering progress, plan composition, project data file setup & management, client & review agency coordination, project scope and fee proposal/contract development, budget management and monthly invoicing. I managed a variety of site development projects in Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. My primary responsibility was the preparations of preliminary site feasibility and analysis for projected locations of future Walmart stores in the mountain west region. This involved preliminary site layout, investigation, and coordination with relevant jurisdictional agencies.

Rocky Mountain Consultants/Tetra Tech RMC – Denver, Colorado Project Manager July 1993 to December 2005

Responsibilities included all aspects of commercial and residential site development design and project management, team workload, project engineering progress, plan composition, project data file setup & management, client & review agency coordination, project scope and fee proposal/contract development, budget management and monthly invoicing. I managed a variety of site development projects in and around the Denver metropolitan area, large and small lot single family subdivisions, town home and apartment building multifamily projects as well as small and large commercial site developments.

IHC/TARCO Joint Venture – Denver, Colorado Quality Control Inspector April 1992 to July 1993

I was responsible for quality control inspection and construction coordination for both Air Side and Land Side activities on the Denver International Airport initial construction project. Types of construction observed and coordinated were Earthwork and sub-grade preparation, Highway, Runway, Taxiway and Tarmac Paving. My responsibilities for quality control included direct observation of construction activities, coordination with sub-contractors, materials testing agencies and daily progress reporting.

Springfield Engineering – Woodbridge, Virginia Project Engineer May 1998 to April 1992

My responsibilities with Springfield included design layout and engineering of commercial and residential land development projects in northern Virginia and Maryland. I performed all aspects of site design including horizontal layout, grading and earthwork, utility plan & profiles and drainage design. Types of project varied from 5acre lot rural subdivisions to retail commercial center developments.

MSM – Greiner, Inc – Denver, Colorado Engineering Designer October 1982 to May 1988

Started with MSM producing horizontal and vertical layout and design for subdivision with the land development group. Calculating coordinate geometry for horizontal alignments as well as profiling streets and utilities. Was transferred to the Water Resources Group. Project included Master Drainage Plans, Channel Designs, Culvert & Small Bridge Layout, FEMA Flood Hazard Studies and site specific drainage reports. Obtained extensive training in most hydraulic and hydrological modeling systems including HEC-1, HEC-2, CUHP, SWMM, UDSewer and the rational method. Alfred Benesch and Company – Chicago, Illinois Engineering Technician February 1997 to October1982

Began working at Alfred Benesch & Co preparing detailed drawings for transportation projects. Types of projects included interstate highways, highway & rail bridges and railroad relocation.
