Job Profile
Implement the standard operating procedures and policies related to Health & Safety facilitating the formulation of new procedures and monitoring tools in ensuring compliance.
By implementing the Health and Safety policy to maintain a safe working environment on site and to advise the legal obligations under the safety regulation enforced in the particular country and relevant legislation policy, safety requirements and training needs.
Investigate, review non-compliance Health & Safety issues & mitigate gaps through effective resolutions to prevent recurrence.
Develop statistical reports in line with company requirements and international measuring standards.
Generate periodical reports, highlighting key areas of improvements and developing action plans for implementation in consultation with Superiors.
To ensure that every employee is informed and trained to perform their job in a productive and safe way in accordance with company policies & procedures
To ensure that authorized programs of accident prevention and emergency evacuation are in place.
To continuously provide specialist advice & education on safety matters to all project personnel.
Investigates and analyses all actual / near-miss accidents involving lost man-hours, property damage & personal injury and submits reports with appropriate recommendations to the management
Establishes safety codes and standards and coordinates with site manager for implementation.
Conducting of emergency evacuation drill and other drills/ exercises.
Refrain from activities which may harm health and safety which may cause property damage or even environmental pollution/damage.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HSE Manager, provides expertise and technical assistance to senior project management for the implementation of the company safety policy by establishing and managing safety program that meets and exceeds all current standards. Review interprets and provide assistance on safety regulations and standards. Monitors project safety performance and conducts project safety inspections.
Participates in the design and implementation of office and project safety plan.
Assign and provides supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs.
Participates with project management representatives in pre-job conferences to present the company safety policy and explain implementation on the projects.
Schedules site inspections with site engineers, Documents violations to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
Identifying potential hazards on site, systematic site safety inspections, audits and determines the requirements for safety.
Develops and implement a safety program to prevent or correct unsafe conditions.
Identifies and investigates elements of an accident, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
Coordinates and Communicates with Project Manager, Consultant Resident Engineers to rectify/ resolve safety issues.
