PRESENT WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Currently working as a Cost controller, Finance Department of ALI BIN ALI GROUP Hospitality (AL DANAH & FAUCHON DIVISION) in QATAR

JOB ROLES:

Controlling all cost centers for the smooth working of operation

Coordinating with head chef to update all recipe in system for avoiding inventory variation

Prepare the costing sheet for each and every item introducing to any cost center and get it signed by finance manager and General manager

Updating the recipe if any changes happened in ingredients

Coordinating with procurement team for the availability of cheap raw materials without affecting quality of finished products

Conducting weekly stock counting in each cost centers to avoid over stock

Coordinating with store keepers to maintain Re Order Level quantity for the smooth operation

Giving weekly updates to each cost center in charge regarding the costing of specified center

Conducting meeting with store keepers to make awareness to them regarding their cost center

Submitting monthly costing report to Finance Manager and General Manager on each cost center ( Expenses and revenue comparison)

Conducting special meeting with cost controllers of divisions, in which inventory variations are showing ( Asking to give written explanation on each variance)

Giving the ideas to cost controllers to do proper control on food and non-food items

Follow-up with all the suppliers if any issues in delivery that leads to credit note or debit note

Seeking ideas from chef side also to apply more control to leads to more profit

Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

Updating all the menu items in MICROS

Preparing monthly report of Cost of sale location summery for all the cost centers separately, by including expenses and by excluding expenses

Preparing monthly report of Sales, Cost of sales, closing stock and inventory variances of all the cost centers ( through menu engineering)

Preparing comparative report ( Sales, COS, CS and Inventory variance) of all the cost centers for submitting to management

Analyzing the purchase and sales of all the cost centers

Giving the more attention to cost centers, which is showing more variance and high food cost EXPERIENCES:
