Summary

A young motivated, responsible and enthusiastic intern Clerk of Works/Inspector pursuing a newfangled challenge within the built environment. Responsibilities: Ensuring quality control of building and civil engineering work by -

Supervising field clerk of works by checking work in progress against the scope of work and Bills of Quantities. Ensuring that all materials used meet required specifications and inspection of structural units.

Authorizing acceptance of payment certificates by checking all measurements of work.

Compliance in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act by supporting and promoting safety as well as accident prevention.

Certifying of services that have been received by checking whether work carried out on site by the contractor has been satisfactorily completed.
