Completed projects for Rolls Royce, Lucas Aerospace and Jaguar. Worked to very close tolerance’s and responsible for total layout design/feasibility/sliding core function/machining and production functionality.
1969 -1971 Fothergill and Harvey, Littleborough. Lancashire, England Specialized in the manufacture of high temperature PTFE belting and sealing applications for Packaging Machinery and Industrial release applications. 1971 -1978 Transparent Paper, Bury, Lancashire, England Product Development-Flexible Packaging /Barrier materials for Industrial and Food Applications. Hold five patents with this company on advanced barrier /co- extruded Materials. Worked closely with companies as DuPont, BASF, on building new business for Companies requiring millions of linear feet for large outlets such as Marine Harvest, Cadburys, Carr’s of Carlisle, Motorola, British American Tabaco, UK Meat Marketing Board, United Biscuits etc..

Senior Packaging Engineer-Had five packaging Engineers working for me. Responsible for developing new packaging for procedural kits working closely with RD and Sales. Helped introduce low cost catheters with new flexible packaging plus IV Start Packs/ Luer Lock adapters/Styrene double deep tray Kits/drapes. Met with all Regulatory compliance and documentation to fast track products through to production. Responsible for Machine acquisition and Plant installation-Multivac, Illig etc.. Materials developed for applications, Barrex, PETG, APET, and new barrier flexible Packaging. Tyvek 1073 and 1059B plus all secondary and tertiary packaging for ETO, Gamma sterilization.

Developing Sales throughout the US for new Paper based lidding products and pouches with specialized peel characteristic’s inhibiting paper tear and fiber shredding to give an economical alternative to spun bonded polyolefin’s. Worked with all Major US medical companies in developing new applications.
1990 -2005 Sencorp Systems, Hyannis Massachusetts
Developing applications for Sales of specialized Thermoforming Systems for Medical and Industrial applications. Many varied systems developed from auto sterilizing contact Lens Packaging systems to new development of Thermoformers for producing thermoformable green material with a base of limestone. Auto sealers for blister packaging including RF and impulse sealing. Worked with the largest companies and contract Packers in the States.
2005 -To present. HPT Technologies, Draper Utah USA Developed new Intense Pulse Light and Radio Frequency Machines for the Medical Industry. Plus worked upon a partnership with a specialized case company in Hull in England-called Scott Dixon Inc.
