Head Cost Estimator/ TX Office Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager (2/14/18- Present)
Continental Datalabel, Dallas TX
With my knowledge of production in the label & printing market, I was able to obtain a better opportunity with another label manufacturer. At Continental, I was offered a position on the Estimating team. After several months I was then promoted to Lead Estimator. During my time as lead we have increased our total weekly quotes each week by 40% and decreased the amount of employees needed on the team. This job required me to meet with material venders and work closely with our National Operations Manager. I have great communication skills, leadership skills as well as time management skills. I am involved in daily production meetings as well as any major projects that might come through the door. From this roll, I ended up becoming the point of contact for many accounts and was able to utilize my customer service skills.
In June of 2019 I was asked to be team lead to integrate from our current system to the Label Traxx system.
This was a huge project that required many work hours and additional training; but after a month, it was successful and is now used nationally at all locations. In October of 2019 I was given the position of Office Manager/Assistant Plant Manager at our TX location. This responsibility included me to keep track of our weekly sales orders going in and out each day, maintain our weekly work schedule, Communicating with all levels of management as well as creating purchase orders for any press parts, ink, etc.
13” Die Cutter operator (01/15/17 – 02/13/18)
Abbot Label, Dallas, TX
This Flexo press was the last step in production before it was sent to the costumer or end user. Because of this each job required a very detailed oriented mindset. Each job was inspected before it went to out to shipping.
Everyday mathematics was a requirement for this job. This job taught me to not to cut corners and that quality is critical in the printing market.
This is a trait that I have applied to my current and any future employment I may receive.
Rewind Operator (03/06/16 - 01/15/17)
Abbot Label, Dallas, TX,
During this time at Abbot label I started in the rewind or finishing department. There I learned to run an Arpeco inspector machine. This machine was the last step in production before it was sent to the costumer or end user so therefore this job required me to pay attention to every detail. Paper work and everyday mathematic application was a requirement for this job. Once I excelled at this position I was offered to move up to a 13” flexo press.
Server (02/01/14 - 03/05/16)
Logan's Roadhouse, Rockwall, TX
Being a server taught me one of the most important things in business which is customer service. This job challenged me to deal with all sorts of different people with different opinions and still give them great service and meet their needs.
