At present 1.9 years working as a Sr. Biomedical Engineer (Clinical, Technical & Application) in St. Thomas Hospital at Chennai.

2 years worked as a Biomedical Engineer (Clinical, Technical & Application) in St. Thomas Hospital at Chennai.

Duties include:

Managing Biomedical Department, Biomedical Administration and Quality Control

Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect medical equipment and instrumentation, including life-support equipment directly or with the help of company or with authorized service person.

Reduce Break down Time (TAT).

Finding solution in Critical/Emergency situation.

Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.

Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.

Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.

Maintain and upgrade NABH as well as WHO, AERB, PNDT & WHO documentation.

Assist with and evaluate third-party repairs.

Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operation and maintenance.

Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.
