Rideshare Program Administration – Designed and administer company’s rideshare program. Designed plan to help promote rideshare initiatives, monitor program in order to comply with Rule 2202. Employee Relations – Work with general managers and supervisors in the resolution of employee grievances. Coach supervisors in the interpretation of policies. Recommend corrective actions based on the level of grievance. Conduct investigation on claims of harassment or other incidents to ensure conflict is documented and resolved. Participate in developing employee events to ensure a positive work environment. Attend and assist general managers in the coordination of town-hall meetings to maintain open door communication with employees.
EDD Administration – Respond to unemployment claims and represent company in hearings. Collect from business units all related documentation on terminations (voluntary and involuntary) to ensure all information is accessible in order to respond to claims timely and accurately.
HR Reports – Maintain monthly turnover report and compensation reports.
Leave of Absences – Work closely with Leave of Absence Coordinator to ensure leave of absences are in compliance with company policy, FMLA and ADA.
Exit Interviews – Meet with employees that are exiting the company to collect the reason why the employee is departing, collect and maintain data for turnover report and escalate information to HR Director for further action.
Training – Train new and promoted managers and supervisors on HR best practices to ensure managers and supervisors comply with company policies and employment regulations. Trainings cover information on company policies, time-clock responsibilities, leave of absences, performance evaluations, and safety procedures.
HR Projects – Train managers and supervisors in performance management system, alternative work week process, support start-up of new operations, and employee onboarding process.
