They have more than 1000’s of Lotus Notes application that needs to be migrated to SharePoint 2010, due to the corporate decision to set back from the renewal of the License by 2015. On a daily basis the bank account details are matched by a number of reconciliations using a third party tool called Autorek through an API call. Autorek uses a C# .Net front end and a SQL Server 2005 database. Data loads are implemented using standard Autorek functionality or custom DTS packages. The data feeds for the Autorek based reconciliations are overall, non-standard and require custom DTS packages to load and validate the files. MDC Finance has been tasked with implementing these custom data loads and this document summarises the design.
The project mainly deals with the customization of the process and creating generic process to make the reconciliation process work smoother and with less manual intervention. New reports will be generated in SSRS that will help the business user for verifying the results.
