The main process involves analysis & Design of these reports in Excel VBA and using their internal tools to generate the basic VB code for report generation.

Autorek uses a C# .Net front end and a SQL Server 2005 database. Data loads are implemented using standard Autorek functionality or custom DTS packages. The data feeds for the Autorek based reconciliations are overall, non-standard and require custom DTS packages to load and validate the files. MDC Finance has been tasked with implementing these custom data loads and this document summarises the design.

The project mainly deals with the customization of the process and creating generic process to make the reconciliation process work smoother and with less manual intervention. New reports will be generated in SSRS that will help the business user for verifying the results.
