From October 2010 to October 2015; 5 years of research experience. PhD degree was awarded with the topic entitled “Biochemical studies on the Antidiabetic activity of medicinal plant Heliotropium indicum in STZ induced diabetic rats” Technical Expertise:

Biochemical Techniques: Silica gel column chromatography (absorption), Paper, Thin Layer Chromatography, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, Flow Cytometry analysis.

Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Techniques: Agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Native-PAGE, Plasmid and genomic DNA isolation, RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, Southern blotting.

Immunochemical Techniques: ELISA, RIA, Immuno-precipitation, raising polyclonal antibodies in rabbits. Immuno-histochemistry, Immuno-cytochemistry and Immuno Fluorescence by Confocal microscopy.

Microbiological Techniques: General techniques for Culturing E.coli and yeast.

Laboratory animals: Proper handling of laboratory animals (rats, mice and hamsters), expertise in oral feeding, intra peritoneal, intra muscular, intra venous injections.
