CALVIN PECK

I am interested in putting my 34 years of experience in the quality field to work to help your company meet and exceed its goals. I have an AAS Degree from Sinclair Community College in Quality Engineering, and have worked as a Quality Engineer/Inspection Supervisor, Senior Quality Engineer/Audit Team Facilitator since 1990. I have supervised as many as 12 Inspectors, Engineers, and Technicians. I have recruited, trained, and developed quality department associates. I am Six Sigma Green Belt Certified from Sinclair Community College. I am also company licensed to operate a sit down lift truck in Ohio.

I have experience in several manufacturing fields including injection molding, high production machining, assembly, engineering metal finishing, and PVC, Rubber extrusion. I have experience as a supplier in the Aerospace, DOD, Tooling and Automotive industries. I have also been purchasing for outside services/manufacture (grinding, shot penning, thermal spray and special tooling manufacture).

As a Quality Engineer/Supervisor for the last 29 years I have become accustomed to dealing with customers both external and internal. I have had direct customer contact with automotive and other customers in the US, Mexico and Canada. I have communicated with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues on a routine basis.

I have extensive experience with implementing and maintaining ISO9000 systems. I have re-started stalled ISO9000 implementation activities as an Internal Audit Team Facilitator. I have performed internal ISO/IATF system audits, supplier audits, metrology audits, layered process audits, and final product audits. I have returned to success two non-functioning ISO9000 internal audit teams. I have scheduled all internal audits, tracked their progress, follow-up on nonconformances, and reported to upper management on their status. I have been involved in auditing since 1991 original auditor training done by GE Aircraft.

Sincerely,

Calvin Peck
