Preparing SOP, daily generation Report and coal MIS. Inspects the unit's and its auxiliaries, electrical, mechanical, control and instrumentation equipment condition prior to start-up, during operations and after shutdown. Records all plant/auxiliaries operating data, including all alarms and protective devices being actuated and reports any deviation to the concerned maintenance Engineer for necessary action. Analysed the root cause for breakdowns by going thorough previous system parameters and Technical manuals and after thorough study of Tripping reports and DCS Trend graphs Co-ordinate with maintenance, personnel for ensuring violation, defect identification, work permit, trials clearance jobs prioritized by him.

Responsible to issue work permit through SAP (normal cold and hot work, confine space etc.) and cancel them on completion of the job.

Responsible for isolations and PTW LOTO System through on equipment and systems (turning off and locking of breakers during maintenance) to ensure safe and efficient operation.
