ACCOMPLISHMENTS

As Acting Accreditation Manager I was responsible for assuring departmental compliance with 600- plus international police standards by drafting written directives, educating all levels of the organization as to the elements of the standards, and collecting and presenting proof of compliance with each standard. As Facility Management team member, I assisted in locating suitable properties, negotiating lease terms, designing space, creating scopes of work and overseeing construction and contracting and facilitating moves of equipment and personnel. As Secondary Employment Coordinator, I coordinated compensated off-duty employment for 500+ officers of all ranks. This is a $7.2M program that entails scheduling and monitoring hundreds of job requests and ensuring that officers comply with general orders and standard operating procedures. As Acting Fleet Manager, I was responsible for the operation, equipping and maintenance of 400 vehicles.

I managed the Body Armor Program for 500 plus officers which involved writing specifications, coordinating bids, and managing issuance, The Access Control program involved management of all electronic and mechanical devices and systems throughout departmental facilities. I conducted staff studies and presented executive summaries and reports on the following: L.E.D. light bars, alternative pursuit-capable patrol vehicles, public surveillance. staffing allocation, electronic impulse weaponry, gunshot detection, and digital file management for evidence.
