Ensuring the prompt processing of Purchase Requisitions issued by the Technical Department and monitoring their progress.

Providing accurate information to all relevant departments, relating to the status of materials required for the building of each yard number. This includes NDSQ purchases, Stock, Damen Gorinchem and any overseas deliveries from Suppliers.

Providing constant flow of information regarding deliveries (container check report), quality, availability etc.

Liaise closely with Project Management and Ship Coordination regarding incomplete, damaged and late deliveries.

Manage Purchase Requisitions for replenishing of damaged materials/ equipment.

Assisting with the appointment of Sub-Contractors/ Co-Makers services and generate the required PR’s.

Work in union with the Logistics team, continually monitoring status of all orders to ensuring materials are delivered according to the project schedules.

Liaising closely with the Warehouse team keeping record of all received materials and equipment with further coordination to ensure that materials are delivered to production as and when required.

Single point of contact with respect to all material issues both internally and externally for a given project.
