Custom application development and NER business functions within a not-to-exceed time and budget. BakBone Software, CA (September 2006 – September 2009) The upgrade of J. D. Edwards from XE to 8.11 was done for BakBone, CA. After going live with their US office, they wanted to move their UK & Japan office from their proprietary software to JD Edwards. It required modifying existing applications & creating new reports required for both the offices.

It compares units of product dispensed against units of product recorded as sold along with any accounted for losses or gains to accurately report both quantities are profit loss & can be analyzed with loss graphical analysis.

The upgrade of J. D. Edwards from XE to 8.11 was done for Suzuki Motors, CA. The upgrade required making sure all the applications and reports that were customized in XE were running with all new SAR applied. A lot of reports had version over-rides and that required creating new versions from 8.11 and then updating with the customization that was done on the same. The changes included a wide range of reports and applications. The upgrade of J. D. Edwards from OneWorld to 8.10 was done for Memorex, CA. The upgrade required a lot of new application development and report development. Customized the application for processing Temporary Price Reduction (TPR) and Mail-in Rebate (MIR). The entire process was broken down into the following steps:

Mobile users conduct daily business while disconnected from the Enterprise One application and when connected, propagate those changes to Enterprise One.

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Dubai (January 2002 – July 2002) The customization of Crossroads was done for GlaxoSmithKline, Dubai. It has been completely integrated and implemented with Orion.

Orion Point of Sales module was customized for Jackys Group of Companies, Healthline Middle East (HME) and Ajmal Perfumes all based in Dubai, UAE. POS interface has the ability to handle different pricing & bundling requirements depending upon the customer type (loyalty coupon’s), or locations. It has the ability to provide an online status of inventory, because of its online interface with the back-office inventory module, & prevents stock out situations in the event of unexpected peaks in sale volume.

Had single handedly studied, designed and customized the whole module and later managed the product. Implementation of ERP Orion (October 1998 – February 2000) The implementation of Orion was carried out in various client sites in Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait & Saudi Arabia. The ERP Orion is a product of 3i Infotech developed on Developer 2000 (Forms 4.5 and Reports 2.5) and Oracle as database. These reports were part of up gradation from their old system to the new system.

Developed and customized reports in Crystal Reports for various modules such as Sales & Distribution, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Human Resource & Payroll.

Later all these custom reports were consolidated and implemented as part of the ERP to all its customers. Information Technology Consultant, Cartels Consulting Services, India January 1996 to September 1998 Projects (October 1996 – September 1998)

Delhi Tent and Decorators had 4 warehouses, 3 banquet halls and several sites across Delhi, which made them very difficult to locate the number of items kept at various places. Mr. Indispensable automates the process of stock movement, inventory & ledger preparation.

Analyzed, created database, designed screens and developed reports. Doctors Diary was developed keeping in mind that any Doctor who runs their individual clinics to maintain the medical profiles of their patients and get the desired reports can use it. This project was developed for two different doctors, one was an ENT specialist and the other one was an Eye specialist.

Had Single handedly studied, designed and developed the whole application. Inventory record and billing was developed for Crossroads Fast Food Joint, India. Since it was a commercial project, changes were a part of the system.
