(2014)

I worked for project zinc which a network company called Primus. I had an amazing experience working with this company, I learnt a lot of different type of communication methods and also gained a lot of new knowledge about networks and how it’s like running a network company. I was also able to work alongside EE Network Company which was really exciting as I learnt the depth of networking. I gained skills such as being able to change different network services and having to meet different customers from different background helped me improve and gain different communication skills. Having to work under a lot pressure and being able to stay focused and being able to meet deadlines.

Company- Inside Success UK

(2015-2017)

Inside success UK is a youth engagement agency run by young people for young people. I worked with young people every day to create and develop projects and opportunities to create bright future for themselves. I also supported these young people with finding jobs, work experience, education, training opportunities, youth projects, sports activities and also funding’s. Majority of the people I was working with were young people who had dropped out of education and some were mostly on probation and being able to help them and make difference in their life made me proud of what I was doing for the community. It also helped me with my communication skills as sometimes there will be a lot of language barrier and I was able to learn how to use different communication approach. During my time there I was also working in the call centre section where I was doing customer service and also giving awareness to parents in regards to the course we were doing. This helped me improve my telephone communication skills. I also used to help promoted the course, which would include going to the city and giving leaflets out to the public which helped bring more exposure to the company and the good course for the young people.

Company- ARGOS

(2015-2016)

I worked at Argos as a stockroom assistant, I really enjoyed my experience working there as it was my first retail job. Being able to work in the stockroom gave me insight to how retail stores manage their stock and also how it’s managed within the store. During my time there I quickly gained responsibilities such as being in charge of all the stock that we received I also answered the phone and helped with queries/complaints and also remaining professional at all times. I would work under a lot of pressure and being able to finish my daily tasks helped me gain my time keeping skills.

I have currently been working in Zara for the past three years, working in Zara has been a great opportunity as I am very passionate about fashion and style. During my time in Zara I have gained a lot of different skills such as working under pressure, being able to achieve my daily targets and also working alongside a large team. I am also a team leader/ supervisor my day today tasks include managing and supporting team members with customer services. I also work hand to hand with the visual merchandisers which allows me to show my fashion and style skills and also being able to improve the image of the store as I work in the flag ship store based in marble arch. I’ve gained a lot of different skills as I am also able to work in tills and also in stockroom and also being able to do manager roles.

WORK EXPEIENCENCE

School- Globe Academy

During school, I was given the opportunity to work in a local primary school, helping the teacher in class, taking part in group activities and supervising the children which I really enjoyed. I was involved in organising lesson plans for English maths and science also play time activities. It gave me an insight into the amount of planning and organisation involved in teaching. I got on really well with other teachers and the children. The placement was for a period of two weeks but I learned a lot of skills in that week which I still make use of now.
