Permit Technician Architect, experienced with +07 years in the architecture conceptual of a wide range of projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings. Perform technical and administrative duties related to acceptance, processing, reviewing and approval a variety of building permits in accordance with different local authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, and TRAKHEES through online Dubai Building Permit System (DBPS). WORK EXPERIENCE

Permit technician Architect

Emirates Engineer Consulting - Dubai-UAE September 2018 to Present

Key responsibilities:

•Obtain documents from Engineers and Architects to facilitate the permit application process.

•Obtain all required approvals for permits and act as liaison between company and municipality.

•Prepare and submit applications to various agencies having jurisdiction over required permits and approvals.

•Review any plans issued out of the division for correct revision dates and review start packages for accuracy.

•Communicate with departments via phone and email and video conference appointments.

•Work closely with the municipalities on the status of permits and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.

•Produce and maintain schedules for all communities and coordinate with municipalities from approval to final stages of permitting process.

•Maintain all company files relating to site plan applications, approvals, licenses and permits.

Main projects include:

•Submission for new building Preliminary and final application till Obtaining and issuance of 40 Building permit monthly for the project as ;

Site Architect

Sinan Engineering Consultancy - Dubai - UAE March 2018 to August 2018

Key responsibilities:

•Responsible for Architectural works (Interior) in the project and certify on completion of the installation.

• Attending inspection requests (IR) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action on time.

• Reviewing shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes.

• Maintain records for daily activities on site including photos.

• Issuing engineer's instruction for the main contractors and sub-contractors.

• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found on-site and nonconformance reports (NCR) required in view of the development areas.

Permit technician Architect

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist the public at the front counter; issue permit applications, answer questions and provide information to the public regarding the application process, permits and general code compliance of proposed projects.

• Receive and complete a preliminary review of 20 building permit applications monthly, parcel and subdivision maps, and blueprints for conformity with pertinent laws and established criteria; ensure information is accurate and complete; assess the scope of the project and relevant permit requirements.

• Calculating, cashiering, and processing fees. Creates associated reports and with the Finance department.

•Makes updates to the City's permitting software to reflect changes in fee schedules and permits; trains others on the use of the software.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

• 07+Years’ experience coordinating with engineers, project managers, and clients for architectural conceptions.

•Conducted as-built/existing condition surveys and converted information into working CAD drawings.

•Customer service, communicate effectively with project managers, engineers and permit approving agency officials to discuss or resolve permit related problems.

•Knowledge of building codes, laws, regulations, and building inspections.

•Knowledge of procedures related to the processing of issuance of building applications or permits.

•Knowledge of Permit fee schedules, inspection procedures, and plan application and review procedures.

•Ability to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel or any other software applicable to the organization; including ability to learn other software packages including Electronic Permit/Plan Submittal.
