The Construction and Engineering SBU's are involved in EPC, LSTK and EPCM projects in the kingdom and catering for clients such as Aramco and Sabic for the construction, commissioning and revamp of Refineries, gas plants, Petrochemical plants as well as various GOSP short term contracts.

The O&M Division operates and manages plants, onshore and offshore for Sabic, Shell, Exxon/Mobil, Aramco and SEC, performs overall shutdowns and turnarounds, supplies highly skilled engineers and managerial staff/teams in long term deployment contracts and plant operations for mentioned clients at national and other overseas.

Have carried out the planning and implementation of the consolidated merger for this two operational divisions to increase profit share and maximize resources utilization, the re - engineering and phase out was done in less than 1 year.

I was also responsible to the BOD for all general management, profit and loss of the organization, e.g.; monthly performance report presentation, bidding planning and management, HSE, QA/QC, Saudization training Program, KPI's, Change Management, Monthly, Quarterly and annual business reviews and presentation to the BOD, one and three year business plan and budgets preparation, business development and strategic planning for all operational issues that affects the bottom line.

Main achievement was the increase in annual revenue from USD 120 Million in 2002 to USD 1.5 Billion at the closing of the 2007 financials.

Left company due to non agreement with new stakeholders, re-organization and new profit sharing scheme which was not in accordance with performance.

July 1993-January 2002 - ACCIONA Group

Position: Regional Director - Asia Pacific Region

Locations: Hong Kong - Bangkok

Scope: Reporting to the BOD in Madrid HQ, organized the Regional Office setup through acquisition of a local company, was involved in marketing, business development, biddings and setting country offices in Beijing, Bangkok, Manila and Kuala Lumpur, representing all the Group SBU's involved in Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, Water Treatment, Power and Telecoms.

Other responsibilities included; P&L accountability, bid management, the financial, economic and commercial development, setting KPI's, design, engineering, Installation, Commissioning, HSE, QA/QC follow up, team building, budgets and business plans preparation, capacity building and Quarterly BOD business & financials consolidations and reviews.

Projects involved multi-task, multi-country and multinational teams and subcontractors, these included ; cogeneration, infrastructure, real estate development, major high rise fit outs, oil and gas storage and production facilities, water treatment plants, refinery upgradation, railways, industrial works, environmental impact assessment and financial analysis.

Clients included Petronas and KLCC Twin Tower in Malaysia, P.R. China Utilities ( Shendong and Hunan water treatment plants) Thailand Gov. Bangkok Water Treatment plant II, HK Gov. Kowloon Central Station and Ting Kao cable stayed bridge and access highways (Pre-1997), Philippines Railway at Subic Bay, Esso Thailand and Thailand Utilities Sector revamps.

The consolidated revenues achieved from 1994 to the close of the 2001 financial year was USD 4.1 billion. Left the Acciona Group for a better opportunity and more challenging position.

September 1990-June1993 - Foster Wheeler Corporation

Position: Project Management Consultant (P.M.C.) for the Malaysian Government Oil and Gas production and developments carried by Petronas. Location: Kuala Lumpur/Yokohama

Project: 3.2 Billion US$ LNG gas production facility offshore, 3 trains processing plant at 10,000 Ton/day/each train (MLNG-DUA) in Malaysia and Reception and distribution terminals (Conversion to town gas) in Yokohama (Japan) for the local market supply.

Scope: Project Management, scheduling, progress monitoring of construction works onshore and offshore, including hook ups, civil works, HSE,QA/QC, piping, structural steel erection, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and IT disciplines as well as commissioning, start up and financial close out. The main contractors were Japan Gasoline Corporation, Hyundai & MW Kellogg.

Other responsibilities included P&L,budget, T.Q.M. and liaison with Petronas, planning environmental impact assessment as well as, the assistance in the marketing analysis and strategies for Natural Gas supplies to the Yokohama Receiving terminal as part of the Petronas, Shell, JGC JV.

August 1986 - July1990 SCHLUMBERGER

Scope: In charge of teams performing on call (rotational) and permanent contracts for Shell Thailand, Shell Brunei, Shell Malaysia, Total Indonesia, ONGC India, OGDC Pakistan, Petronas Malaysia, Mobil Oil Indonesia and PDO Oman.

Responsible for P&L,managed the daily performance of project teams, general operations in the fields of Well Testing, Wireline, Well Completions, Fracking, Stimulation, CTU, Pipe Laying, Plant Revamping, and Early Production facilities installation onshore and offshore.

Other tasks included, liaison with clients, preparation of customized reports for the clients, budget preparation and engineering data analysis consolidations.

August 1979 – July 1984 – Halliburton Corporation

Joined the Halliburton Corporation organization and after a specialty petroleum engineering, production and plant management training at the Webb Chapel HQ in Dallas Texas, was posted initially in the Cairo base of operations for North Africa, performed engineering field services for Mobil Oil, Zadco, Suco, Petrobel, and Elf Aquitaine.
