Duties and responsibilities
a) Managing & directing the whole camp operation services consisting of multinational expatriates of different projects. Responsible for Camp Administration, Accommodation & Housekeeping, Maintenance, Catering and Security.
b) Planning & implementation of camp policies and procedures.
c) All daily correspondences, daily/weekly and monthly camp reports provided to Project Administration
d) Providing accommodation to multinational expatriates as per their entitlement.
e) To monitor the updated records of all employees check in and out of the Camp.
f) Ordering & procurement of materials for Camp maintenance, kitchen equipment, bedding materials etc. as per company norms.
g) Coordinate with the Area Management to make contractual / mutual agreement with the different suppliers / service providers.
h) Performs maintenance and repairs on camp facilities including plumbing, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and electrical duties.
i) Employs and supervises staff to operate dining facilities.
j) Preparing different types of Menu as per the categories.
k) Provide Input for appraisal of staff upon request of supervisor to assist in assessment of Individual Performance.
l) Implement Safety and Security Procedures in the Camp as per the Company and legal norms.
m) Carry out regular inspections of the accommodation, common areas, dining area, stores (dry and cold rooms) in order to ensure that cleaning and maintenance work have been carried out in accordance with Company and CLIENT rules.
n) To ensure that staff records are maintained appropriately with all required paperwork including health certificates, code of conducts forms, certifications etc; as required by the clients or Local governing Authority.
o) To actively participate in pre-camp orientation, camp set-up and tear-down staff meetings with the respective leads or supervisors or including camp residents as required.
p) Coordinating / Organizing training awareness sessions for the Camp Staff & Residents.
q) Coordinate & assist with HSE Manager / Camp HSE Officer with HSE concern matters.
r) Undertake appropriate action to minimize wastage in terms of Electricity, Water, and Food as well as minimize wastage in Maintenance Sector by procuring / receiving quality materials / commodities.
s) Always give priority to enhance Camp Staff basic Occupational Health, Safety & Environment standards/ knowledge
t) Coordinating and organizing different sports & Cultural activities of ethnic residents in the Camp
u) Responsible for the cleanliness and hygienic environment of the camp
v) Responsible for monitoring of sweet water supply to the camp and noting down the same. Also responsible for the clearance of sewage water from septic tanks
w) Coordinating with the housekeeping and maintenance crew with the day to day works.
x) Responsible for yearly Inventory of the Camp
y) Participate in purchasing and ensure to obtain competitive prices along with quality of material
z) Investigate in cases involved in grievance and disciplinary issue
aa) Taking decisions on how certain issues are handled and referring the major issues if any, to higher authorities
