SPECIFIC ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Daily Tool Box Talk is conducted before the start of every work assigned.

Conduct site inspection, monitoring and checking the Permit to Work compliance, tools, equipment and other attached important documents prior to start of work.

Monitoring the job site major/critical activities such as Excavation, Scaffoldings, lifting/erection procedures and other hazardous jobs.

Monitoring all near misses, unsafe act and unsafe conditions.

Monitor and Report all types of near misses, incidents and accidents.

Checking and identifying all hazards in the working area, escape route in case of emergencies and maintain good housekeeping after the job completion.

Conduct risk assessment and hazard analysis on jobs prior to starts.

Check all the right Personal Protective Equipment for the job, its proper use and safety compliance.

Monitor to close out the any hazardous observation ASAP.

Ensure all necessary Health & Safety precautions are being strictly adhered and that all information or instructions on health & safety matters issued to staff and subcontractors is properly.

Monitor site working conditions and safety practices & recommending preventive & corrective action to avoid incidents, submit report & keep updated HSE records.

Coordinate with Client and sub-contractors HSE Representative to bind the HSE rules and regulations.

Continuously promote and maintain highest standard of housekeeping.

Having a system for waste disposal to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace.

Appointing competent people to enforcing Health & Safety rules and regulations.

Organize, attend and record all HSE meetings.

Keep records of all inspections, test examinations, accidents etc.

Provide independent reporting line to Head of Safety Department.

Investigate and report to the Manager all accidents/incidents.

Arrange, co-ordinate and participate in all necessary health & safety training.

Provide the leadership necessary to contribute towards an effective Health & Safety Department.

Inspection of work sites regularly for close on the job observations to guide and correct the workforce to eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

Enforce the Safe Work Practices on all given tasks and provide recommendations if needed.

Conduct preliminary investigation of all incidents (injury, fire, motor vehicle accident, damage of existing services or property damage etc.) and submit to HSE Engineer.

Conducting Safety Training for all Engineers, Supervisors & workers.

Responsible for working as part of a team that ensures the Safety procedure of Company’s employees and any visitors.
