WORK EXPERIENCE (IN KUWAIT ):

Presently working as Cost Controller in B & S Restaurant Group co. from July 2017

Handling full duties and responsibilities of Cost Accountant prepare monthly Cost of Sales Reports, Costing recipes, Menu’s and setting Selling price with cost percentages, Job Costing. Preparing purchases reports, petty cash and supplier payments, checking invoices as per Purchase order, controlling expenditures and also prepares monthly Restaurant P&L statement a/c to the Management.

Worked as Cost Controller in United Foodstuff Industries group co.( Master food division.) from Sept 2009 to 24th June 2017.

Job Description:

Costing tenders menu’s, costing banquets functions, recipes; estimate the cost per unit and proposing sales price with cost percentages to management.

Carrier out daily random samples of receiving reports, market list and invoices to check the quantity and price are as per agreed purchase order with suppliers.

Investigate the quantity,quality and price difference and reports unresolved discrepancies to the

Management.

Preparing monthly Cost of sales report.

Provides timely month –end accounting information with pertinent observation to enable completion of month-end financial reports.

Verify the month end inventories and posting by receiving clerk and storekeeper.

Also Handle Accountant duties:

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

Handling bank transactions like depositing cash, cheques in bank and preparing bank reconciliation. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.

Checking daily sales invoices and preparing monthly Sales report.

Prepare month end closing and preparing cost of sales report.

Preparing monthly & quarterly Trail balance, profit & loss a/c

Monitor and analyze business procedures and activities of business. Discrepancies related to the organizational processes are identified and recorded

Interact with auditors in completing audits and reports.

Preparing various Accounting Reports as per management request.

Responsible for all costing, accounting booking entries and any adjustment

Worked as Cost Controller in Kuwait Regency Palace Hotel from April 2002 to Sept 2009.

Worked as a Accountant in Kuwait Plaza Hotel from Nov. 2000 to Jan. 2002
