Field supervisor/Compliance at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and Patrick Air Force Base (PAFB) for LTM/LUC/GW remediation assessment/System Ops/Well abandonment for 45th SW. Responsibilities include: overseeing, coordination,

scheduling, implementing field inspections, compliance, groundwater/soil and sediment sampling, GPS data collection, O&M. Daily leadership/direction to field staff, informed all safety related education, well installations, soil evaluations, test pits/trenches

Maintain land use control implementation program (LUCIP), landfills every quarter, photographed and document findings of compliance failures and updates, coordinate new sign installation (Dig permits) and or repairs at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and Patrick Air Force Base.

Direct, conduct and participate in monthly safety/accident review committee meetings. Evaluated work requests, prepared reports related to such accidents and personal injuries for recommending action to prevent reoccurrence. Conducted tailgate safety meeting every day prior to any field work commenced.

Responsibilities include: keep field staff up to date on safety issues and update any changes on ongoing jobs. Kept management in the loop of progress of field work and staying on track and within budget.

Conducted AST and UST (storage tank) inspections, ensure safety compliance and performed foundation evaluations on soils at 2 Federal army installations in Georgia.

Conducted and Maintained Ozone system at active launch pad on CCAFS, documented and reset alarms for system for system. Conducted site walk thru to observe ozone leaks in piping and document findings on a bi-weekly check. Made repairs on all of pipes along with routine maintenance on Ozone system to keep system running 100%

LTM Well installations and closeouts at numerous sites at CCAFS and PAFB and kept daily field logs, sampling logs and field notes on entire process.

Office safety captain regarding safety and health compliance, JSA’s, Respirator fit testing and ensuring proper personal protective equipment. Implemented Emergency Evacuation plans, flowcharts and established muster stations, and overall general safety in emergencies.

STS Consultants 1999- 2001

Performed quality assurance inspections, on landfill liners, building foundations and structural framing, including cast in-place concrete, reinforcing steel, shoring/re-shoring, post tension cable, precast/pre-stressed high-rise buildings in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Observe soil conditions for building foundations, classify soil types, and perform moisture-density testing, soil sampling, testing of hot mix asphalt and soils laboratory testing and nuclear density testing at various sites.

Sampling and testing of concrete and construction sites to verify and ensure with state, county and local building codes, performed field and/or laboratory testing (concrete compression tests), observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, grain size analysis, concrete, asphalt, and steel).

Communicate with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor’s representative and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results.

O’Brien and Gere Engineers 1989- 1999

Designed numerous AST, UST tank farms, electrical panels, sensors and concrete berms to be following new standards and regulations along with construction site inspections to ensure soil parameters are confirmed.

Conducted (Ultrasonic) Non-destructive shell thickness testing mapping at waste tanks and piping, including CAD and reported causes of potential failure of loss in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

Coordinated, inspected and supervised landfill air compliance, water, and ground water sampling program, including liner installation on construction sites for General Motors and Ford motor company.
