Looking for a postion in the ocean export field. I have thirty years experience and have managed Customer Service, Documentation and Equipment Control departments. My last position was manager of Port Terminal Operations and was repsonsible for coordination with stevedores and vessel planners what cargo was to load a vessel. Have extensive knowledge with hazardous regulations set forth by the IMO and was responsible to ensure a complete and true dagnerous goods manifest was placed on board each vessel. JOB HISTORY
HAPAG Lloyd - November 1, 1989 to September 30, 2019 Nov 1989 to Sept 1992
Vessel coordinator responsible to coordinate with stevedores and vessel planners load lists and prepare a dangerous goods manifest for the vessel.
Sept 1992 to June 1999
Manager of documentation, customer serivce and Port Termnal Operations departments. Functions included ensuring timely issue of bills of lading, correct rating of shipments, handle customer concerns, and monitoring load list and dangerous goods manifest for vessele.
June 1999 to July 2006 - manager of equipment control and port terminal operations. Functions included equipment management for Texas, New Orleans, Oakland, Salt Lake City, and the Pacific Northwest. Port terminal operatons responsibilities included coordination with stevedores and vessel planners load list for the vessels, preparing dangerous goods manifests for the vessels, coordinating inspections of dangerous goods containers with third party surveyor and reviewing, approving and entering into SAP terminal and vessel related invoices for Houston and New Orleans.
July 2006 to Sept 2019 - manage ofr port terminal operatons for Houston and New Orleans. Responsibilities included coordination with stevedores and vessel planners load list for the vessels, preparing dangerous goods manifests for the vessels, coordinating inspections of dangerous goods containers with third party surveyor and quoting over guage loading/discharge costs.
