'Impact of GST as a Tax Reform on Consumer Buying
Behaviour With Special Reference to Mangalore City Area' Project mentor: Ms. Jennifer Maria Quadras (Lecturer & HOD of M.COM, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore) GST is an indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services and the single biggest tax reform in India's history which had replaced the earlier tax system on the 1st of July 2017. The purpose of the study was to measure not only the magnitude of consumers buying behaviour and spending pattern with regard to GST as a recent tax reform, but also to analyse and understand the attitude and opinion consumers had towards this tax reform from their point of view.

Promotions in the Fast Food Industry With Special Reference to Mangalore City Area'
Project mentor: Ms. Suraksha (Lecturer at the UG Department of Commerce, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore) With the increasing growth in the fast food industry, particularly in the city of Mangalore, people are more attracted to eat at fast food restaurants due to the introduction of different promotional offers which suits customers in different occasions and timings. The scope of the research was to investigate the influence of several promotional activities practiced in fast food restaurants in order to derive a better understanding of how each of those activities in turn affected consumer behaviour and response as well as to identify whether consumers were deal oriented or not.
