Design and Fabrication of Frame, Steering, Suspension and Braking System for Mini-Bike

Elicitation of creative conceptual designing and fabrication of mini-bike is the primary aim of this project.In this project 80cc engine is being used and we also bring out the new design of fuel tank, frame and shock absorber. This bike is completely designed and manufactured for off-road

condition.

Optimization of process parameters of WEDM process during machining of titanium grade 5 alloy

The objective of this study is to select the optimal combination of machining parameters in Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) process. The basic concept behind this study is that in any manufacturing process, by changing the input parameters, output gets affected. In WEDM the most critical factors that affect the machining performances i.e. Material Removal Rate (MRR), Surface Roughness (SR) and Kerf (cutting width) are identified as Input peak voltage, Pulse-ON time,Pulse-OFF time, Dielectric fluid pressure, Wire feed,Wire speed and servo voltage . For varying the input parameters, the

corresponding responses are measured. To find the

optimum input parameters,some of the methods like

Taguchi Analysis, Grey Relation Analysis are used. Finally the results of the methods are compared and the best is selected using Minitab software.
