Responsibilities include the full use of engineering expertise and hands on experience developing product and process capability with production support in a manufacturing industry. This includes design of machinery and gauging, arrange for and manage outside vendors, interact with other departments and customers to the successful outcome of projects. Duties included oversight of all aspects related to outcomes, including but not limited to;

Review design specifications, interact with internal or customer design engineers to correct or ameliorate problems and in doing so suggest design and application improvements, conduct cost analysis,

Working closely with production staff to improve capability processing, provide direction, instruct and/or support setters and operators, Operations supported soft machining, Creep feed grinding continuous dress and Vit CBN operations, ID OD grinding,

Completion of required documentation in fulfillment of ISO 9000 and/or QS requirements,

Work with suppliers in countries outside of USA to make parts to corporate specifications,

Trouble shoot and daily support of manufacturing processes,

Working knowledge of CAD and PC office systems including MS Project and Word,

Project management responsibilities included oversight of all aspects related to outcomes,

Create specifications for custom machinery machining, grinding and super finishing for process improvements and new product development,

Complete all cost justifications, machine build, run offs, and installation for production in plants across multiple local, national and international locations (Ct, NC, India, Italy and China).
