Senior Manager, Engineering --- Manage the delivery of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering/design and drafting of fiber optic cable and CRAN projects (aerial, buried, underground) to telecommunications service providers (e.g., AT&T). Over an initial 3-month timeframe, directed the elimination of a 287-project backlog, producing over $900k in revenue.

(Acting) Director, Construction --- Requested to serve in interim capacity to direct the completion of OSP aerial/underground/buried projects for high-volume clients (Zayo, AT&T, Charter, Verizon), utilizing multiple in-house and subcontractor crews. Created successful bids for over $1.4 million in firm-bid Zayo contracts.

Senior Network Architect – Served for 2 years as on-site technical consultant on football stadium renovation (Kyle Field at

Texas A&M University). Personally marketed, negotiated, and closed contracts for the lease of private network infrastructure (fiber optic cable, cellular antenna sites, etc.) to telecommunications carriers (MCI Worldcom, AT&T, PCS Primeco, Sprint PCS), local universities and school districts. Revenue: > $100 million.

SPRINT COMMUNICATIONS, INC.

Served in three director-level Network positions (distribution planning, regional operations, budget administration) during the construction of the nation’s first, all-digital, all-fiber optic network (24,000 route-miles).

Directed 715 employees responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the GTE Ohio Outside Plant (OSP) network, as well as corresponding activities associated with PBX and Special Services engineering. Operating budget: $30 million.
