MAINTENACE MANAGER Batavia, IL 2015-2019
Managing a fleet of 20 vehicles for Pace Bus. I have developed a very good relationship with the client and coworkers in the last three and a half years. I have been audited by Pace and went through a triennial audit with no finds. I have and still am 100% on time preventative maintenance over a three-and-a-half-year period. I have assisted in startups in Batavia, IL. Tracy, CA. and Sarasota, FL. I have developed and integrated new processes for the maintenance division, and helped with the implementation of the maintenance software. I also have developed entry level technicians into a higher-level quality personnel.
MV TRANSPORTATION
MAINTENANCE MANAGER Donora, PA 2013-2015
This was a one shift union facility. Responsible for 40 buses, 3 tech’s, 4 utility personal, building and grounds maintenance, 400,000 yearly budget excluding payrolls. I also was responsible for a small facility in Washington City, PA. This contract was a 9-bus operation with a working foreman and one utility person. I was responsible for the P&L, ordering parts, and inventory audits.
RACINE TRUCK SALES 2012-2013
Service Manager Racine, WI
Responsible for the P&L of a 12-bay facility. Was responsible for the supervision of 20 people. This also included the building maintenance and the grounds maintenance. I increased revenue and made projected earning goals throughout my time with the company. I also helped the parts department in the selling off of old stock and wrong ordered parts.
TRANSIT RESOURCE CENTER 2010-2011
Director of Maintenance City of South Lake Tahoe, California
Responsible for 40-bus gas, CNG, diesel engine fleet; two-shift union personnel, building, ground maintenance repair, inventory. Set up an environmental program, Eldorado County, CA.
This fleet was a very difficult fleet to manage. It had 5 different types of bus brands within the fleet. The location was a very challenging area to work. Weather conditions, parts availability, distance to any repair shops made it difficult to maintain a quality fleet.
FIRST TRANSIT 2009-2010
Director of Maintenance City of Green Bay, Wisconsin
Ran two-shift union facility, responsible for 38 transit buses, building/ground maintenance repairs, purchasing/inventory control, tech training. Obtained a $120,000 grant from Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources and a Focus on Energy grant.
