I've been a Heavy Equipment Operator for 8+ years, 3/4 of that time being spent on a bulldozer. I'm highly experienced and skilled at operating a finish bulldozer, including blue- topping and slope work, with or without agps. I'm also proficient at operating an excavator, scraper, and front-end loader (rubber tire and track-type). I have experience driving heavy-haul dumpers as well as on-road trucks. Equipment inspection: Perform thorough, step by step inspections of equipment each morning. Check all fluids and grease all fittings, inspect cutting edges and undercarriage for excessive or irregular wear and remove and clean air filter as necessary. Report all defects to maintenance department. Keep record of hours of operation and down time as well as fuel consumed.

Housekeeping and labor: Maintain a clean, well organized workspace. Remove all trash, wipe down instrument panels and control levers and sweep the floor at the end of each day. Use sight level and measuring tape or gps to determine where grade is and offset grade stakes, as needed. Set blue-tops and perform any other labor work it takes to get the job done.
