Resume:

Dr. Chan has a sunny and friendly disposition. His personal and professional vision is

to be kind, caring, and competent. Towards these goals, Dr. Chan has devoted his life to achieving compassion,

moral integrity, and the highest level of professional training. He is pleased, honored, and extremely qualified to serve as your podiatrist. Background

Dr Chan is thrilled to embrace the culture of the Navajo Nation as part of an integral portion of a comprehensive medical, surgical, and diagnostic center in both Gallup, New Mexico and Pinon, Arizona.

Dr Chan worked in a multi-specialty group in The Villages in 2014 after helping America’s Armed Forces get back on their feet through their Fort Hood Texas Podiatry division specializing in sports medicine over-training injuries, trauma, and battle wounds incurred during combat overseas. Prior to contract work with the United States Government, Dr Chan was CEO of Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Associates in Sebring, Florida where he was in private practice for several years. Dr Chan completed a prestigious 5-year fellowship track in reconstruction of the lower extremity. Although it is uncommon to undergo 5 years of rigorous surgical training, Dr Chan believes that the extra investment in time and expense is immensely valuable for the benefit of his patients. Dr Chan believes that it is a privilege and honor to join a community which embraces the latest advances in medicine and science - where cross fertilization of current trends is rapid.

Professional

Dr Chan completed a Fellowship in Surgical Reconstruction of the Foot and Ankle under the expert tutelage of the late Dr Gary Peter Jolly of Yale University in Connecticut. He has enjoyed teaching and guiding the talents of Yale surgical residents. Dr Chan completed his tenure as Chief Resident where he focused on Fracture Care from the Emergency Room of a Level I trauma center in the bustling heart of New York City. Dr Chan deeply enjoyed teaching classes, leading workshops, and lecturing to medical students as well as surgical residents during his time there.

Dr Chan graduated with honors in the top ten percentile of his medical school class from Rosalyn Franklin University in Chicago, then Chicago Medical School. He was awarded the prestigious Research Scholarship between his 1st and 2nd years, which he spent on investigating Diabetes and its effects on the lower extremity. The data gathered now aids doctors across the country to educate their patients on preventing limb loss and aids surgeons in limb salvage procedures. Dr Chan graduated on the Dean’s List from Wheaton College with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology.

Traumatology, Sports Medicine, Deformity Correction, and Limb Salvage are his passion. Helping patients compassionately and competently is his goal. TIMOTHY CHAN 863-***-**** cell ada073@r.postjobfree.com Team player, Friendly,
