Supply Chain Management:

Lead a team of 18 professionals formulate and implement effective strategies and action plans and efficiently manage Supply Chain of a multi billion INR petrochemical complex.

Orchestrate a professional group of suppliers, vendors, transporters, clearing & forwarding agents and ensure uninterrupted and on time supply of quality materials.

In consultation with production develop new/ alternative materials, improve product quality and reduce cost.

Individual contracts above 0.2 Million INR.

Annual Maintenance Contracts for plant operation during annual plant shut down and regular maintenance of machinery, boilers, equipments etc.

Stores Management:

Manage stores function with huge and complex inventory worth 150 Million INR of a Mega Petrochemical complex; ensure compliance of Health, Occupational safety, Fire safety, environmental safety requirements.

Maintain adequate stocks and ensure availability using JIT Techniques.

Utilize latest technology like RFID for identification, proper Storage and Preservation; maintain good housekeeping using Japanese 5 S techniques.

Vendor Development:

Identify and develop a reliable vendor base, monitor and improve their performance through practical vendor evaluation and rating procedures.

Conduct regular surveys covering local and overseas vendors.

Liaison:

Liaise with Govt officials like MCL, Weights & Measures, IOC/BPCL and streamline coal/F.O/ HSD procurement and Metrology function.
