• Accepted other travel site to help due to nurse on vacation, sick leave.

• Accepted to come in earlier time or leave later due to patient care flow. Open up the clinic door to set up for early clinic for patients, check patient in, vital signs taken, urine obtained/tested for protein/glucose and informed provider.

• Prescriptions were electronically routed to appropriate provider for refills throughout the day.

• Answered phone calls, returned calls from patients, and documented in patient's chart. Started auto clave daily with instruments, speculums, by placing in proper size bag, with sterile temperature placement, finish with placing proper discharge dates, and put away in provider's exam room.

• Washed instruments, and speculums with disinfectant/enzymatic cleaner.

• Nursing visit included blood pressure readings, Provera, TDAP, and RhoGAM injections.

• Checked expired supplies, and medications weekly.

• Ordered low supply count of instruments, and medications. Checked printed blood results for genetics, Carrier testing, disorders for Cystic fibrosis, Fragile X syndrome, Spinal muscular atrophy inform patient of results and document in patient chart.

• Order and provided referrals for Genetic testing placed with the right Dx codes based on age and trimester.

• Fill out and faxed appropriate paperwork to Obstetrix medical group for ultrasound imaging services.

• First OB visit to have patient complete blood work and follow up Alpha-fetoprotein blood test.

• Referrals placed to Endocrinology, and dietician for gestation diabetes.

• Orders placed for pre-op for type and screen blood test.

• Tested for pregnancy test, results informed to provider and document.

• Semen analysis, while giving appropriate education, paperwork, supplies to take to collect and take to lab.

• Call Cottage Hospital OR for emergency deliveries order by provider.

• Complete paperwork for breast pumps and faxed to appropriate breast company and document in patient's chart.

• Check providers in and out boxes throughout the day for completed orders to be done.

• Complete orders for cultures, pap smears, and specimens to be picked up by courier.

• Print out labels, and scrub clinic schedule daily for the week.

• Coordinate with provider, RN triage, Nurse manager, LVN's, MA's and surgery scheduler.
