Position Title: Sales Professional

Position Description: To secure sales within customer key accounts by proactively finding business opportunities through daily contact with key customer stakeholders. Responsible for maintaining an opportunity list and driving the sales of competitive solutions and/or services (involving several Ericsson product areas, services and 3rd party products etc. across all the Ericsson Business Units) through a consultative approach focusing on the customer needs, for one or many accounts. To organize and drive the sales team from identifying opportunities to closing deals, thereafter to ensure the handover of the deal/contract to the delivery/supply side of the Ericsson organization, assure the CPMs/CFRs delivery/project execution and handover from the project delivery/supply to the Ericsson Support organization (or Managed Operations organization) and to assure the delivery of the support services (or managed services) as contracted in the relevant service level agreements.

Responsibilities/

Achievement:

Secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives.

Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. Develop both internal and external relation/s in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful.

As main achievement, I managed to maintain Ericsson footprint within MTN’s Rwanda Network (Ericsson has 80% MTN Rwanda Market share today)

In 2023, I won MTN Rwanda Modernization RFQ, a five-year multi-million US dollar deal. In the same year, I also contributed to 4G technology commercial launch with MTN Rwanda using their own infrastructure and I actively participated in a very successful 5G technology proof of concept (POC) with MTN Rwanda as a customer.

In 2022, I received the award of 2021 best financially performing Key account management cluster. I also have been recognized as “Key Contributor at Ericsson for driving Ericsson long-term strategic priorities, being a role model and inspiration for others.

In 2020, I received the best preforming Managed Services team MMEA CU MTN AFRICA award.

In January 2019, I received MTN Rwanda CEO signed letter of appreciation for outstanding achievement during Network rollout transformation which significantly contributed to MTN Rwanda Overall growth in 2018 (MTN Rwanda revenue

increased by 21.6% Year on Year)

On top of MTN Rwanda, I took over Account Manager for MTN Zambia and MTN Sudan.

Key Achievement: Significantly improved customer relation and loyalty with MTN Zambia just after swapping competitor’s Charging System with Ericsson charging system. MTN Zambia recorder revenue generating subscriber growth of almost 20% from Jan 2017 to end 2019)
