I want to utilize my experience in all phases of residential and commercial construction that I have obtained over the last 30 years. I have a lot of experience in reading residential and commercial blueprints for ground up projects as well as remodeling or build outs of commercial buildings.
ARCADIS INC, Middletown, CT May 2024 to September 2024 -- Project Manager, Superintendent, Contracted
•Represent the City of Springfield during renovation projects, ensuring alignment with city interests and project goals.
•Observe and monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
•Be on-site daily throughout the active construction period to oversee and review work progress.
•Write and maintain detailed daily reports based on observations, highlighting any issues or deviations from the contract.
•Facilitate and manage interactions between the client and contractor, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
•Attend all meetings with clients and contractors, ensuring that all parties are aligned on project objectives and updates .
•Document and maintain accurate meeting minutes, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items
•Execute punch lists to identify and address incomplete or unsatisfactory work before project completion.
•Follow up on corrective actions for any deficient work, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the required standards. Take 15 to 20 pictures per day based on the amount of work completed and file them in the daily report.
FAIRFIELD RESIDENTIAL INC, Chelsea, MA March 2022 to September 2023 -- Superintendent
•Responsible for managing and supervising all construction activities on the construction site.
•Working closely with Project Managers, Contractors, Contractors Foreman and to make sure that all Construction Projects performed to be on time, built with total great craftsmanship and efficiency throughout the entire project, without sacrificing quality, and making all construction deadlines. Post tension concrete decks, with rebar and cable for support.
•These projects are concrete podium slabs with rebar reinforced, and wood panelized walls on top of the concrete slabs. Values were from 90 million to 135 million dollars, with 180-480 apartment units.

•CAREER BREAK - Laid off because of Covid and family health responsibilities
BUILT-RITE CONSTRUCTION INC, Boston, MA December 2019 to March 2020 -- Superintendent, COVID SHUTDOWN
•Managed all day-to-day operation of the demo, abatement and asbestos removal of an old Ford Car Dealership named Cote Ford in Mattapan, MA on Cummings Highway.
•I oversaw all the construction on site and managed the complete operation of the entire project.
•Also, in charge of building 76 new 1-2 bed apartment units through the city of Boston Housing Development.
ORCHARD KNOLL DEVELOPERS, Bridgewater, MA June 2017 to October 2019 -- Superintendent, Owner Sold Jobsite
•Demoed the Belfour Ring Factory in N Attleboro MA.
•Oversaw the abatement of all the steel frame windows and asbestos removal.
•Installed Building Starting with 362 Geo Piers.
•This was a multi-use building with Steel on the first floor following an additional 5 floors with wood panelized floor frame and floor and roof trusses.
•Built 193 Apartment units – studios, 1-2 beds.
•All apartments were fully equipped with appliances and air conditioning.
•All the bottom floors are commercially spaced with 26 parking spaces in the garage and a rooftop bar on the 5th floor accessible for tenants only.
NAPCO CONSTRUCTION LLC, Lakewood, NJ August 2016 to May 2017 -- Superintendent, Completed Site
•Built 28 new beds in a Nursing Home / Rehab center called Webster Park Rehab Facility.
•Was responsible for taking the project from halfway point all the way through completion with sign off for occupancy from building inspector.
•The old building that we added to was over 50 years old.
•Oversaw every phase of the construction project.
MARATHON CONSTRUCTION LLC, Enon, OH January 2016 to July 2016 -- Project Manager, Project Funds Eliminated
•Was the owner's rep and project manager for remodeling of all the Hess gas stations in the New England Area.
•We did only half of our projected schedule which means I did 19 remodeled projects instead of the 38 for that year.
•Gilbane Contractors out of RI was my General Contractor for all my projects.
•Marathon pulled the plug on the project halfway through because gas was going up and they made their money primarily on selling gas.
D.F. PRAY INC, New Bedford, MA November 2014 to January 2016 -- Superintendent
• Responsible for constructing commercial buildings, from ground ups to complete buildouts and remodels. Strongly emphasizing total quality and getting the job done on time, on budget, without sacrificing the quality. Worked closely with Architects to ensure that their design was done correctly while providing the best quality service.
ESCO ENERGY SERVICES, Lenox, MA January 2012 to 2014 -- Superintendent
• Was in charge of multiple commercial projects at the same time. Retrofitted light fixtures from old style light bulbs to the new LED light fixtures. Installed new LED lights and new fixtures as needed per job. Managed multiple crews at once.
WACHUSSET DEVELOPERS, Rutland, MA January 1985 to December 2012 – Owner, Superintendent
•I established myself as a quality builder and developer of custom homes and commercial buildings in the central Massachusetts area. My total emphasis was on total quality workmanship from beginning to end. Every house that I built I came back and did the interior trim package per house, including cabinets.
