1. 1988, Hired as a seasonal part time associate, where I excelled in customer service and ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a short period of time, going above and beyond what was required. 2. 1990, promoted to a full time associate to assist in multiple areas as directed by management. 3. 1991, promoted to Manger of the Electronics Department where I was praised by the Corporate Regional Manager for exceeding sales goals and always completing Corporate directed programs ahead of schedule.

4. 1996, Promoted to Front End Manager due to my ability communicate in a professional manner with customers in all circumstances to achieve best possible results given a situation. 5. 1998, promoted to Pantry ( Housewares, Refrigerated Foods, Pet foods and products, and various groceries) Manager at the completion of store expansion where I assisted in resetting the store layout from Kmart to Big K.

6. 1998-2001, As requested by the Regional Pantry Manager, I was sent to stores in Utah and Idaho to assist in rolling out the Big K format in targeted stores due to my knowledge and ability to stay focused and achieve goals on or ahead of time. During this time, I also continued to run the Pantry at my home store and won 2 District Sales contests where my home store in Pocatello out performed all other stores in my district in selling private labeled products within the Pantry area. 7. 2001-04, As Directed by the store manager, I was promoted to assistant store manager and was trained and assumed roles as both Hardliners and Operations Manager separately during a three year period.

8. 2004, During the last year of my employment I accepted the role of Loss Prevention Manager and reported only to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager. It was at this time that I was approached by an up and coming Business that offered a new opportunity in a very intriguing Market. After much reflection and discussions with various respected individuals and colleagues, I decided to leave the retail space to peruse a new carrier path that was more family oriented as I was raising a young family and felt as if I was spending too much of my time away from home.
