Such tasks included editing promotional posters, organizing closed cases, documenting closed cases, shredding documents, creating Excel spreadsheets, data entry, answering the phones at the front desk, and documenting the nature of the client’s phone call.

July 2019 - August 2019/ July 2020 - August 2020

City of San Antonio, San Antonio - Public Health Aid My job was to supervise the children of the participants who entered the WIC clinic. I cleaned the playroom, the lobby, and my workstation; I assisted in getting the height and weight of the participants, set appointments, answered the clinic phones, and completed any task given to me by my supervisors. During COVID-19 we changed to curbside-only appointments, which meant that my job now included going outside to receive the WIC cards of the participants, delivering the cards to the WIC staff, conducting appointments over the phone, and providing breakfast and lunch to the children of the participants while they waited in their vehicles.

I alternated between the Curbside, Cross-Functional, Bakery, Cashier, and Grocery departments. With all departments I would be tasked with lifting and moving groceries/items on and off of shelves, answering any questions customers may have, and bouncing between tasks in a quick and timely manner. Curbside was my central department. I was tasked with loading the customers' groceries into their vehicles, answering customers’ questions to the best of my ability either in person or over the phone, training the new hires, and shopping multiple orders on time.

InMindOut Emotional Wellness Center — Front Office Associate I was responsible for maintaining the therapists' schedules at my location and all the other locations of the organization. I also maintained the front lobby, ensuring it was clean and presentable. I handled payment, verified insurance, filed documents, shredded documents, handled outbound calls to reschedule appointments and updated client’s accounts, answered inbound phone calls, handled client interactions, handled data entry tasks, telemarketing, training the new hires, and answered any concerns both new and current clients may have had.
