Belk Inc. 2004-2008

Stocking shelves and completing floor moves were my primary responsibilities. I also sold merchandise when needed. United States Air Force 2008-2012

Nutritional medicine was my career field. I graduated basic military training as an honor graduate. I earned the military bearing award and distinguished graduate at my tech school graduation. My responsibilities included monitoring patients’ meal plans, as well as performing minor medical procedures.

Safelite Autoglass 2012-2018

Lead Autoglass technician was my job title. I installed and repaired windshields, door windows, and back glasses. I also had the opportunity lead training classes to teach new technicians how to do their job properly. I placed 2nd in the Best of Belron Nationals in 2017.

The Garris Agency 2018- Present

I am currently an Insurance Agent. I sell multiple lines of insurance for several different carriers, but I primarily sell personal lines property and casualty insurance. I currently hold licenses to sell property and casualty, life, accident and health or sickness, as well as surplus lines insurance. I was a finalist for Best of the Pine Belt for the insurance agent category for Signature Magazine in 2023.

Education

Purvis High School 1998-2002

I graduated with high honors and excelled in math and science. I was voted Mr. Purvis High School by my classmates my senior year. I was a three year letterman for both the football and the baseball team. I was a two year letterman for the golf team. Jones County Junior College 2004-2006

I earned an Associates Degree and graduated with a 3.7 grade point average. Community College of the Air Force 2009-2012
