For the last 36 years I have resided in the City of Des Plaines, IL with my wife and two daughters. Professionally my combined 38 year career has been diverse. In the environmental engineering consulting and services, as well as in plumbing, I have worked in both the commercial and government sectors. The types of hazards and chemicals I have worked with have been even greater in diversity. The proper education, OSHA and safety training has been the strong backbone support that has allowed me to prosper, learn and grow. 1989 Beling Consultants Chicago, Illinois, Mechanical Designer: Duties included MEP and asbestos abatement design, structural and civil drafting, hazardous field work. 1990-1993 Jamrok Environmental Inc. Carol Stream Illinois, Lab and Field Supervisor: Duties Included: Field work report writing Phase I, II and III environmental studies, clean-ups, emergency response, asbestos abatement, UST removals, in house physical and chemical soils analysis. Health and safety training in house with each employee training all the other employees on OSHA sections including confined space entry supervision, trench and excavation awareness, as well as 40 hour HazWoper. LUST, UST 15, 45, and 90 day reports written in coordination with IEPA, USEPA and Illinois State Fire Marshal’s office regulatory requirements. 1993-1996 Smith Ridel Environmental, Inc.
